Over the past five years I have been creating challenges and Retreats for Slim You and the feedback has been so positive. Many clients say it changed their lives!
Well, we are back with another one. I thought long and hard about how I could reach people who –
1. don’t feel comfortable in the gym
2. don’t want to exercise with a group of energiser bunnies because they not there yet
That’s why I’m restricting it to 100 kilos and over

The reason is, I was sitting next a woman the other day at an event and she asked me what I did and when I told her about Slim You and the retreats , she said she love to do something like that but didn’t because of how she felt in amongst a group of slim fit people in their well fitting tops while she had to wear oversize t-shirts.
I felt her pain because many years back when I started my journey I was here , then I lost it all and found that “Slim” is really that good, then in 2011 I lived through the earthquake like all of you in Christchurch and we know how that effected us and is still effecting some of still today and like most people I put on quake weight!
I had the luxury of taking myself off to Bali on a month trip to add more knowledge in the toolkit for the retreats. While there a miracle happened because I was focusing on myself daily and because of that, I was able to shift that nasty weight. Anyways enough about me and back to this woman, I felt her pain , so much so that she almost had me in tears and I could see she was near to tears herself. I know this pain, nothing seems to work! I layed in bed that night thinking about that pivotal conversation and what I could do to help.
AND HERE IT IS!
Just quietly, I am hoping that no one takes offense to my only focusing on larger ladies (and guys) because i know in my heart that if I offered this to this lady she would jumped at it! And there it is – the programme IS born.
This will be a 3 week challenge and is designed to incentivize you to try some new things, break some bad habits, and get results that you didn’t even think were possible!

A kickoff meeting on August 4th in Ferrymead at the Slim You Office at 4pm and 6pm to go over what you will and can expect ,meet the other 5000 steppers. Run through how this programme is way more than just 5000 steps but hey we had to give it a name and heck who knows you guys may even come up with a new name at the end of your three weeks!
